Our Story

Rose and Betty Creations

The Beginning

Rose and Betty Creations was established in December 2023 by Joana Zuniga, a self-taught seamstress and designer with a love for thoughtful, well-made garments.

At the start, we were creating cute, simple tops and accepting orders through Instagram DMs and Shopee. We were small, but we were passionate about every stitch.

The Spark

Everything shifted when a client asked for bigger sleeves, inspired by the classic Filipiniana, because she wanted to wear it to work. That single request sparked an idea and slowly shaped our direction.

From then on, we chose to focus on creating Filipiniana pieces that honor tradition while remaining wearable and modern.

Growing Pains

As we grew, we learned many lessons—some of them difficult. Our Instagram account was mistakenly taken down, causing us to lose followers and clients. We created a new account, only for it to be taken down again.

It was heartbreaking. For a time, we decided to stop. We paused for three months and made the difficult decision to let go of our seamstresses.

"That pause humbled us. It taught us patience, resilience, and the importance of purpose beyond numbers and platforms."

What brought us back were the people who remembered us. Clients who reached out, who asked how we were, who trusted us again. Their support reminded us why we started in the first place.

Blooming Again

Today, Rose and Betty Creations is back—blooming quietly and intentionally through our own website. We continue to create Filipiniana pieces with intention, care, and gratitude, carrying every lesson with us as we move forward.

This is not just a brand. It is our story, growth, and gratitude. ♡
